Our first job was a single walnut vanity for a neighbor. Word travelled the way it does in a small town — one careful project at a time — until the garage became a proper millwork shop with a bench for every craftsman.

Sterling Design was founded with a definitive focus: to bring world-class architectural millwork to the custom properties of Eastern Idaho and Western Wyoming. We intentionally stepped away from cookie-cutter, high-volume residential manufacturing to protect a more focused pursuit of true custom quality.
Our cabinet and millwork shop operates on a core balance: an unwavering respect for classical proportions paired with a heavy investment in manufacturing technology. By introducing premium German-engineered equipment into our workshop environment, we have rewritten the standard of what local artisans can deliver.
